Meneer de Wit

Meneer de Wit is a center for the arts, culture and development. Meneer de Wit wants to open his doors for everyone. He feels committed to his neighbors, but also savors the cities dynamics. Meneer de Wit likes to share his house with other creative people. His friends from Streetlab_ transformed the project area into a platform for young talent. In his various studios, dance and theater groups come together to perfect their repertoire and passionate tangos and flamencos are being danced. Talented musicians fill the studios with music in the evening. Meneer de Wit even has a house orchestra. He also has several roommates: a rotating group of artists and creative entrepreneurs who develop their own work in their own private studios.

Curious as he is, Meneer de Wit explores the limits of contemporary music and art. He is charmed by exciting jazz and has a passion for tango and flamenco. Also classical music, talented singer/songwriters and other ambitious performers can light his fire.

Also Meneer de Wit has a dream. And that is one filled with music, art and creation. Meneer de Wit continues to seek opportunities to expand the cultural horizon of his neighbors and fellow citizens and to support creative talent in the realisation of their own dreams.
