Op de laatste zaterdag van augustus gaat de
25ste aflevering van de ZomerJazzFietsTour van start.
Langs een prachtige route door het Reitdiepdal, ten noordwesten van Groningen, kan een keuze gemaakt worden uit 28 concerten in middeleeuwse kerkjes en boerenschuren. Volgens beproefd concept kan per fiets de nieuwe jazz worden verkend.

On Saturday 27 August 2011 The SummerJazzCyclingTour’s
25th edition will show the Reitdiep valley at its best.
Cycling through this magnificent area of the province of
Groningen, the Netherlands, north of the city of Groningen,
you can make your pick of 28 concerts in mediaeval churches and barns.
SummerJazzCyclingTour 2011 presents a varied programme
featuring contemporary jazz and improvised music from the
Netherlands, England, Germany, Switzerland and the United States. In a special route the Berlin new jazz scenen is highlighted. The latest developments in jazz and related musics may be explored on bike.
